Kelli Edwards
Ms. Kelli Edwards was born and raised in South Carolina. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of South Carolina. Thirteen years ago, she moved to the Lowcountry, where she has built a life with my husband, Jordan, and our three dogs—Oxley, Oliver, and Opie. With nearly two decades of experience in healthcare, she began her career working in clinical settings before moving into management. Currently, she serves in a leadership role focused on business development - expanding and enriching healthcare that is needed in our area. Since relocating to the Lowcountry in 2012, she has worked within the realm Coastal Carolina Medical Center and Hilton Head Medical Center, both of which became part of the Novant Health system in 2024.Ms. Edwards’ journey in healthcare has shown her that access to education is one of the most powerful determinants of health outcomes, directly influencing everything from economic opportunity to community resilience. She brings this perspective to her work on the Royal Live Oaks Wicks Foundation board, where she aims to support initiatives that create equitable pathways to success for every student.
Ms. Edwards is deeply committed to the belief that education is a foundational element for a healthier and more equitable society. By supporting Royal Live Oaks Academy, she hopes to help create opportunities that empower students to reach their full potential and build strong, resilient communities. The skills and knowledge gained through education not only open doors to diverse career paths but also foster critical thinking and compassion—qualities that are essential in healthcare and beyond. Her goal is to ensure that the academy continues to nurture students who will become thoughtful, capable leaders making positive impacts in all areas of life.
